Programme impact
Reef restoration research, powered by open data.
Every drifter tells us where coral larvae travel after spawning — the reef currents, dispersal corridors, and recovery zones. That data is released into the public domain at the end of each season, funding the next round of research.
Reusable drifters recovered this year become next year's fleet, so a strong recovery rate means fewer new units to purchase and a higher net impact per dollar contributed.
